Indian equity markets declined for the fourth successive days mirroring the weak cues from the global markets. Inflation worries coupled with concerns for the interest rate outlook weighed on the market sentiments. Additionally, ongoing geopolitical uncertainties in the Middle East and rise of bond yields also contributed to the downside. Further, weak quarterly corporate earning updates and constant FII selling also added to the losses.
